How can you go wrong with the smooth vocal of Nat King Cole. In his greatest hits, they are all that. Great hits.
I used to put this record on when our offices were in the Stutz building in downtown Indy. It was an artist space in an old car factory that had hardly been touched. Other than adding some walls. It would echo off the concrete walls, floors, and the old windows and give it an incredible feel. The player was in a different room from my desk and it almost sounded like I was in the alley behind an old music hall with his smooth voice coming out through the back door.
It doesn't have quite that same feel in my home office, but it still sounds incredible.
Go get it, sit, and spin it!

This week's Sunday Spin is Sir Paul's second album after breaking up a band. McCartney II was a new angle for Paul with a very heavy influence of synthesizer.
The lead single from this album, "Coming Up," was part of what John Lennon credited for his newly found inspiration that led him back to the studio. We are all very lucky that Lennon was inspired and we got more music from him.
For me, this is a mediocre album from Paul, but it may be that it is very heavily dated in sound and I was not quite old enough to have enjoyed it in its time. But, even a mediocre album by McCartney's standards is worth a listen.
Some team members recently traveled to some distant lands. Keith traveled to China and while not finding any good vinyl, he at least was able to spread the word about the show in Suzhou, China.(Pictured)
Another team member traveled to Seoul and there might just be some cool new content coming out soon on something they found.(Not Pictured)
